P.E.O. Chapter JU met Feb. 5 at Journey Church with 20 members present and with the Tea Committee being Diana Johns, Marilyn Downs and Dee Burt. A program was presented by Burt on her trip to The Holy Land, which occurred following the lifting of COVID related travel restrictions. It was reported that the updated International P.E.O. site is up and running and members are encouraged to sign in and actively use the site. P.E.O. Chapter LT held its Oct. 2 luncheon meeting at the home of Carole Permar with 12 members enjoying quiche made by the hostesses Permar and Kim Sogge. Rhonda Miller, vice president, presided during the meeting. Karen Berger gave the Cottey College report which is the four-year women’s college owned by the sisterhood in Nevada, MO.
