• Ever Arnoldo Cruz Marin made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-second offense charge, a leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only charge and a no insurance-accident charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Brittney Precious Thrift made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Scott Hunter is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Thrift is being held without bond.

• Juvenal Navarro made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Navarro pleaded guilty. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Shayla Jewel Winchell made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 10 in Magistrate Court.

• Dustin Eugene Veld made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a possession of methamphetamine charge, a possession of marijuana charge, a person ineligible to carry dangerous weapons charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a no insurance charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
