The 2017 Linn Creek Art Festival was a red letter day for Marshalltown! The three co-chairs, Amber Danielson, Kendra Sorenson and Neil Dalal, did a fabulous job of organizing the biggest ever art festival so that everyone seemed cool and relaxed. As an exhibitor, I was cheerfully greeted by several volunteers all offering to help me set up. Danielson, co-chair and director of Arts and Culture Alliance, met me and directed me to a lovely, shady spot already set up with a tent and a table. Volunteers from Restore Church were ready to help unload and even valet parked my car! The number and variety of unique exhibitors, the varied entertainment and the great crowd made for a memorable day!
