Save education jobs and money
As many small school districts in Iowa are facing budgets, I am hopeful that their school boards will look at all possible ways to save money without cutting teachers or programs.
When there is a declining enrollment many schools have decided to share administrative positions. A wise plan but not a traditional plan.
Teachers are often shared from building to building within a district to save money. Perhaps administration sharing would be a beneficial way to protect student programs.
If there was an administrative position retirement, it would be an opportune time to implement such a move. Necessity is the mother of invention.
