Mark Giannetto for county supervisor

I realize it’s still January, but we all know how quickly time flies. We will soon find ourselves at a very important time on a national level as well as at our county level — election day! November will bring electing to fill an opening on our Marshall County Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors controls the budgets, makes changes in rules/regulations affecting the county, makes decisions regarding properties/buildings/equipment within the county, as well as employees/staff of Marshall County. The Board of Supervisors members are very influential people in the county affecting the success or the decline of the county. That’s why as you’re sitting at home trying to stay warm you should be thinking about who the best candidate will be to represent Marshall County as our next County Supervisor this November.

I believe a familiar name is that option, Mark Giannetto. Mark was raised in Marshalltown. He has worked in Marshall County his entire life at the city and county levels. He has experience with negotiating, and with working to rectify issues/problems to come up with the best solutions. 2024 is the year to put someone on the Board of Supervisors who will negotiate and fight for EVERYONE in Marshall County. Mark is someone who will assess situations, determine the best solutions, come to the table with ideas and analyze the use of the resources of the county to keep the county fiscally responsible. He will not be afraid to disagree if he does not believe it’s the best decision, but his top priority will always be the success of Marshall County.

So as you sit waiting for spring to come, start thinking about considering Mark Giannetto for County Supervisor. Now don’t think this is coming from Mark, he is unaware of this push for him to consider becoming a candidate. I am speaking for a group of people from Marshall County that know Mark well and feel he would be an excellent asset to all Marshall County residents by being on the Board of Supervisors. Marshall County needs a voice of reason, a mind interested in the success of the entire county, someone who will treat everyone fairly and not judge based on his own wants/needs.

Marshall County needs Mark Giannetto. Please begin thinking about this upcoming election and see if we can all convince Mark to run for this office!
