Response to T-R article Sat., Dec. 30

Federal judge Stephen Locker okays sexually explicit material and the right of teachers to discuss LGBTQ lifestyles in elementary schools. School President Mike Beranek of Iowa Education Association and the ACLU along with other groups praise the ruling.

In my opinion, the judge and these other groups showed lack of moral character. The judge should know that all speech is not protected, like racial slurs, religion in schools and you can’t yell “fire” in a crowded movie theater if there’s no fire. The judge could have added filth and sexual immorality to the list of unprotected speech in elementary school to protect the little children held captive in the classroom. He chose not to, to the joy of the school president. Who knows what they are hiding in their closet.

Some quote the first and 14th amendments to the constitution as being violated. Not so, we already put people in prison for fooling around with sexual material concerning little children. What’s up with the judge and the school president for allowing this filth in elementary schools. We come to expect this kind of trash from the ACLU, they attack every good thing in America.

What is wrong with teaching reading, writing and arithmetic along with spelling? It worked for hundreds of years and the masses turned out mostly good up to the 1960s and 70s. Let’s see, the new school of teaching has turned out drug addicts, sexually active kids, killing of fellow students and so much more with the idea that they know more about raising the little ones than the parents or the church.
