Feuerbach transfers from ISU to Iowa
Ten days after entering the transfer portal, former Iowa State freshman basketball player Kylie Feuerbach emerged having signed with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Feuerbach, a 6-foot guard, made the announcement on her Instagram account on Friday.
“It is with a humble heart and deep gratitude that I’m excited to announce my commitment to the University of Iowa and their WBB program,” Feuerbach wrote. “I especially thank Coach (Lisa) Bluder, Coach (Jan) Jensen and the entire Iowa women’s basketball coaching staff for offering me this amazing opportunity. I am honored and so happy to become a member of this team and family. I cannot thank my parents, my AAU Coach Dickson Jensen, my family and also my friends enough for their unwavering support and help in guiding me throughout this transition. There are not enough words to express my appreciation for all of you. I look forward to growing and learning as both a student and athlete while being a Hawkeye!!”
Jensen averaged 5.5 points per game while starting in 24 of 28 games for the Cyclones this past winter.
