ISU’s Crooks claims Big 12 weekly honor

IRVING, Texas — Iowa State women’s basketball player Audi Crooks has earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors following a 20-point performance in a 105-68 win over Troy on Sunday.
It marks the first weekly award of Crooks’ career and the first award for an Iowa State player this season.
Crooks led the Cyclones with 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor in Sunday’s victory. Her field goal percentage (.900) tied the fourth-best mark by a freshman in program history.
Crooks leads the team with 16.1 points per game and .670 season field-goal percentage. She ranks eighth among NCAA Division I freshman for points per game.
