Allie Pfantz

PELLA — Central College sophomore Allie Pfantz was named the American Rivers Conference women’s golf Player of the Week.

Pfantz was meet medalist over the weekend at the Buena Vista University Fall Invitational in Storm Lake, shooting 77-78–155 for a three-shot cushion over the runner-up.

Pfantz, a State Center native and West Marshall High School graduate, was a two-time state meet medalist and last year’s A-R-C Rookie and Newcomer of the Year.

Pfantz placed eighth in the Class 2A state meet in her junior and senior seasons at West Marshall.
