Marshalltown residents are asked to pick up vegetative debris and tree limbs from the curb and transport them to the Marshalltown Compost Facility, if they are able. The facility is located at 901 Woodland St.

Plant debris can be left on the curb for the city to pick up, but assistance is appreciated as it might take weeks for crews to make it through every neighborhood. Do not leave building materials or construction debris on the curb.

The compost facility will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Compost-related fees have been temporarily waived.
