• Skoky Gene Strohm made an initial appearance on two counts of a parole violation charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver charge, a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge, a felon in control of a firearm charge, a possession of marijuana-third offense charge and a theft-third degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed on the parole violation charge and the public defender’s office is appointed as counsel in the other charges. A parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by an administrative court judge. Strohm is being held without bond on the parole cases. A preliminary hearing on the new charges is set at 1 p.m. on May 18. Bond is set at $300 cash or surety on the drug paraphernalia charge and $25,000 cash only on the other charges. Upon release, Strohm will have to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.

• Deandre Davis made an initial appearance on a discharge of firearms within the city limits charge and a reckless use of a firearm charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on June 6 in Magistrate Court. Davis is released with supervision and is to report to the adult probation office within 24 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement.

• Ryan Heath Chaplin made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and a carrying weapons charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. A contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A preliminary hearing on the carrying weapons charge is set at 1 p.m. on May 18. Bond is set at $3,000 cash only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Mark Anthony Shattuck made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Shattuck is being held without bond.

• Heather Naomi Wallace made an initial appearance on a warrant charging her with burglary-second degree. Wallace is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office and sign a pre-trial release agreement. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on May 29.

• Mark Judge made an initial appearance through counsel, Jeff Hazen, on two counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Hazen will continue as counsel until the conclusion of this case. The 15 days has been waived for the contempt hearing and the District Associate Court will schedule the hearing. Judge is released on his promise to appear. The court ordered that Judge be photographed and fingerprinted in connection with this case. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jacob Daniel Gorsuch made an initial appearance on a social host violation charge. Gorsuch pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on June 13 in Magistrate Court. Gorsuch has hired Christian Stickrod as counsel. He was released on his promise to appear.
