The Marshalltown Police Department’s Ray Maxey and Sgt. Melinda Ruopp were presented with city service awards Monday during the Marshalltown City Council. Police Chief Mike Tupper recognized the contributions that Officer Maxey and Sgt. Ruopp have made over the past 10 and 30 years, respectively, to the department and to residents of Marshalltown.
