Another successful ‘Cowboys In The Sky’

Our scholarships of $1,000 each, were awarded this past weekend to Judd Grover, of Cresco and Dallen McIntire, of Thayer. This brings our accumulated total to $69,000 awarded. All of these were made possible by the supporters we have had over the years. The “Cowboys In The Sky” Calf Roping and Steer Wrestling Sid Roseland Memorial event we held this year was our 16th Annual. We are able to continue this event because of the great family and friends who continue to support us.

This year our supporters were: Kevin and Julie Hitchins, Brian and Joan Johnson, WEB Electric (John and Mandy Fox), Bjelland Plumbing, John Terry, DVM; Hrobak Lumber Co., Pinnacle Bank, Mike and Lori Orman, Ron and Karen Roseland, Bowman and Miller (Beth Miller), Allen and Beth Good, Dean and Mary Kenagy, Mitchell Family Funeral Home (Marty Mitchell), Parks Gas, Sherry Hotchkiss, Marshall County Abstract, Russ Paul, Dennis and Bonnie Ray, Russ and Kelly Roseland, Wes and Clarice Roseland, Electric Supply (Scott Kilstrom), Ray Bisbee, Amy Moeller, Bob and Kay Roseland, Sagepoint (Gary Schaudt), Shomo-Madsen Insurance (Bobby Shomo & Steve Madsen), Jim and Marian Grover, Kendall and Janice Thompson, Don and MaryAnn Lovell, Barry Papesh, Cory Veach, Randy and Myra Mann, Ron and Diane Bever, Pam Kuntz, Mark Seffenga, Spencer Weeks, Mary Foley, Jackie Shau and other volunteers and family who helped with cattle, timing, entries and whatever else needed to be done.

And, of course, all the cowboys and cowgirls who showed up to rope, steer wrestle and run barrels. Thank you so much for helping us have a successful event. We appreciate all of you.
