AMES — Senior point guard Emily Ryan announced her plans to return to the Iowa State women’s basketball team for the 2024-25 season on Friday evening. The Claflin, Kansas native made a statement via social media regarding her future with the Cyclones.

“Four years wasn’t enough. Let’s run it back, Cyclone Nation,” said Ryan.

In 113 games played at Iowa State, Ryan has amassed 1,209 points, 724 assists and 489 rebounds. She owns the second-highest career assist total in program history and has posted the 23rd-best total for career points.
