The Marshalltown girls’ swimming and diving squad won its fifth-straight dual meet, mashing Mason City 115-57 on Tuesday night at the MHS pool. The Bobcats (5-2) won all 12 events, highlighted by a trio of individual events win which Marshalltown captured the top two spots. DES MOINES — The Marshalltown volleyball team got back on track in Iowa Alliance Conference play by pounding out a 3-0 sweep of Des Moines Hoover on Tuesday night. The host Huskies (2-13, 0-7) provided little resistance, falling 25-12, 25-8, 25-15 to the Bobcats. Marshalltown (7-16, 5-2) used a wide array of players to put away Hoover on this night, getting kills from nine different players.
