David Buchwald, 80, of Tucson. AZ, formerly from Marshalltown, passed away October 16, 2023, at Northwest Hospital in Tucson.

David was born June 20, 2023, in Marshalltown to Jack and Margaret Buchwald. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1961. He started his career as a lineman at Marshall Co REC and later accepted a job at Trico Electric in Tucson. He was promoted to construction supervisor and spent 31 years doing the job he loved at Trico.

Dave and his wife of 42 years, Carole, loved to travel and took many vacations in the states, Mexico, Canada and Europe. Dave also loved playing golf and belonged to several men’s leagues for many years.

Dave is survived by his wife Carole, children: Mike, Mark, Sara (Angel), Rob (Deanna), Nathan and seven grandchildren.
