The Marshalltown Rotary club held its May 26 meeting using the “Zoom” platform with Jim Goodman presiding. Goodman announced the options that membership will have to contribute to the Rotary Community Food Drive coming up on June 20. The club plans to resume in-person meetings in three weeks. The Marshalltown Lioness met on March 9, at the First United Church of Christ with President Dessa Hattenfield presiding. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, singing of “God Bless America” and table grace led by Charlotte McGinty. A meal furnished by Mary Bryant and Martha Fisher followed.
