• Thomas Lee Johnson made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign charge. Johnson pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6 in Magistrate Court.

• Justin Zitzow made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. Zitzow pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due by Nov. 30.

• Joshua Joseph Fruth made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the administrative law judge. Fruth is beng held without bond.

• Adam Mohammed Younis made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the administrative law judge. Younis is beng held without bond.

• Hunter James Mills made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Oct. 28. Mills is released on his promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Guillermo Arana made an initial appearance on a dark windows charge and a no insurance charge. Arana provided proof of insurance and the charge was dropped with court costs of $60 assessed. Arana pleaded guilty to the dark windows charge and the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge, a county enforcement initiative of $5 and court costs of $60 for a total of $132.50, due by Nov. 30.

• Joshua Mathew Jackson made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 30. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
