• Jaiden Wesley Van Law made an initial appearance on an assault with the intent to inflict serious injury charge. Jennifer Frese will be hired as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Stephanie Renee Price made an initial appearance on a child endangerment causing bodily injury charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Guyan Michael Garrett Lucas made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 20. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Joy Lynn Hamilton made an initial appearance on a harassment-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. Hamilton is released on her promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Mickey Lee Leonard made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no seatbelt charge. Leonard pleaded guilty to both charges. On the driving under suspension charge the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the seatbelt violation is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Narissa Jo Banks made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Jennie Wilson Moore will continue as counsel. The bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Salud Castillo made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Jennifer Frese will continuen as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

• Desmen Eugene Bagnall made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, a dark windows charge and a no seatbelt charge. Bagnall will represent himself before the court on these charges. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30.

• Matthew Michael Blink made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a driving while barred charge, a no valid driver’s license charge, a providing false identification information charge and a improper rear lamps charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Aaliyah Nicole Chelf made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Chelf pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 19 in Magistrate Court.

• Marshall F. Hooper made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge, a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge and an interference with official acts charge. Hooper pleaded guilty to all charges. On the driving under suspension, no insurance and interference charges the fines were $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 for each charge. The fine on the failure to yield charge is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Andrew Lafontant made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Lafontant pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 19 in Magistrate Court.

• Cory Le Count made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Le Count pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Da Jour Jordan Robinson made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Robinson pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 12 in Magistrate Court.

• Jacob R. Schmidt made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Schmidt pleaded guilty to both charges. On the suspension charge the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $20 with a $7 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $87. All payments are due within 30 days.
