Court — Monday

• Garang Bior Ajang made an initial appearance on an attempted burglary charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 18. Ajang was released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 72 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement.

• Peter Daylue made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Brian Dean Davis made an initial appearance on two counts of a possession of a controlled substance charge, an operating while under the influence charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Hunter James Mills made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Mills pleaded guilty to both charges. On the no insurance charge the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and a $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Darren Ray Janssen made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.

• Arsenio Montelongo Morales Jr. made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Morales pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75, due within 30 days.

• Lance Matthew Schaum made an initial appearance on a tampering with a motor vehicle charge. Schaum pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $134.75, due within 30 days.

• Craig Laverne Spencer Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Spencer pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50, due within 30 days.

• Heather Lee Nicole Perdue made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge, a littering charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.

• Bonnie Lou Barton made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Barton pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50, due within 30 days.

• Marin Gonzalez made an initial appearance on an animal neglect charge. Gonzalez pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $15 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $175, due within 30 days.

• Jose V. Balderas made an initial appearance on a Department of Public Health violation charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.
