Court — Monday

• Lance Eugene Gibson made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge, a carrying weapons charge and a possession of a controlled substance charge. Aron Vaughn was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 17. Bond is set at $9,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Phillip Terrell Davis made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Dec. 31. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

• Austin Jesus Sanchez made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a no valid driver’s licenser charge. Sanchez pleaded guilty to both charges. On the speeding charge the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75. The fine on the driver’s license charge is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Travis James Jordan made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 16. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Cheyenne Lucille Johnson made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Johnson pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.
