Zach Ridout of Marshalltown recently scored a hole-in-one at Collison Par 3 Golf Course, acing the 110-yard 15th hole with his 52-degree wedge.

Witnesses to Ridout’s hole-in-one on July 10 were Joel Allison, Mike Kerber and Beau Starn.

MHS soccer putting on free youth camp at MASC

Marshalltown High School soccer is hosting its free 2022 Youth Soccer Camp on Aug. 1-4 at the Marshalltown Area Soccer Club.

The youth camp is free to all boys and girls going into grades 2-8, and will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each night. The camp will focus on soccer basics in a fun and engaging environment and will be for players of all experience levels. Focus will be placed on improving foot skills and technical play through training drills and games while providing players with a better understanding and insight of the culture within the Bobcat soccer program.
