Incidents

• On Tuesday, a theft was reported in the 1200 block of West Main Street.

Arrests

• On Tuesday, Anthony Shearer, 34, was arrested for controlled substance violation.

• On Tuesday, Larry Crawford, 50, was arrested for violation for parole.

• On Tuesday, Dale Baker Sr., 62, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, a keeping a premises or vehicle for substance violation and a controlled substance violation.

• On Tuesday, Gabrielle Taft, 27, was arrested on a warrant.

Court — Wednesday

• Larry Darnell Crawford made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Tyler Heeren was appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Crawford is being held without bond.

• Gabrielle Louise Taft made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on April 28. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Anthony James Shearer made an initial appearance on a burglary-first degree charge, a kidnapping-third degree charge, an assault with intent to inflict serious injury charge, an assault causing bodily injury charge, two counts of a possession of a controlled substance charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 2. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Elicia Tomasa Valdez made an initial appearance on two counts of a child endangerment charge and a public intoxication charge. Tyler Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 10. Valdez is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.

• Abdelrahman Odaidalla Abdalla made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Abdalla pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $90 in court costs for a total of $177.75, due within 30 days.

• Dale Robert Baker made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge, a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a keeping a vehicle or premises for the purpose of using or selling drugs charge, an unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing has been waived. Baker was released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 72 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A substance abuse evaluation has been ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
