Court — Tuesday

• Scott Edward Mills Jr. made an initial appearance on a carrying weapons charge, an eluding charge, a driving under suspension charge, an interference with official acts charge, an improper adjusted headlamps charge, a failure to obey a stop sign charge, a no insurance charge and a registration card violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 5. Bond is set at $3,000 cash or surety.

• Timothy Lee Warnell II made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of air or blood causing bodily injury charge, a domestic abuse assault-second offense charge, a criminal mischief-fourth degree charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public offender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 5. Bond is set at $15,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Rigoberto Salas made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Court judge and the Department of Correctional Services. Salas is being held without bond.

• Alexander Ethan Willet made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel on the probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. Willet pleaded guilty to the possession of drug paraphernalia charge and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $282.75, due within 30 days.

• Salud Castillo made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

• Byron Lloyd Barker made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for sentencing charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The sentencing hearing is set at 3:30 p.m. on April 30. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only. Barker still needs to complete a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court.

• Amber Nicole Langmaid made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge. The public defefender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 15. Langmaid is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Steven Ray Ralls made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Ralls pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 24 in Magistrate Court.

• Dontavius Salvatore Griswold made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order out of Clinton County. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 24 in Magistrate Court. Griswold is released on is promise to appear. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Brittney Precious Renaee Thrift made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 15. Thrift is released on her promise to appear. The court ordered Thrift to be photographed and fingerprinted in connection with this case.
