The Ave Maria Study Club met April 12 at St. Henry Education Center in the Madonna Room. Co-Chair Sandy Good opened the meeting at 1:05 p.m. She introduced the program presenter, Cindy Staron. The afternoon began with Good leading the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary for health issues of members and Rose Ann Jero’s nephew. Those in attendance enjoyed strawberry shortcake and fellowship. The March 2024 General Membership meeting of the VFW Auxiliary Post 839 met at the Post Home on March 19. The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by President Liz Polkiewicz, followed by the Opening Ceremonies according to the Ritual. There were seven members present. Liscomb Legion Auxiliary hosts spring meeting

LISCOMB — Liscomb Legion Auxiliary Unit 87 met at 1:30 p.m. on March 7 at the home of Sharon Hatch in Whitten. Five members were present. Hatch opened the meeting and Chaplain Dorothy Sorensen gave the opening prayer followed by a moment of silence for the MIA/POW and deceased veterans. The Pledge of Allegiance and the Auxiliary Preamble were recited. Minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.
