American Legion seeking to expand membership
Under new law any veteran who has served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since Dec. 7,1941 and has been honorably discharged or is still serving is eligible for membership in the American Legion. The American Legion consists of the Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons and the American Legion Riders. Only males are eligible to join the Sons. Even if you haven’t served, but a male descendent has, this makes you eligible to join the Sons.
