Chapter LT of P.E.O. met on Monday at the Marshalltown Public Library with 23 members present. Greg Brown presented a very interesting program entitled “WellSpring Missions: Updates on Wells and South Sudan.” He briefly explained the recent history of South Sudan and his own involvement with the country. He showed slides of the well-digging, the people, their homes and their village. WellSpring Missions has recently been chartered by the United Nations.

President Pat Batcheler brought the meeting to order in due form. Committee reports and the business meeting followed.

Coffee and dessert were served by hostess Cheryl Strunk and tea committee Linda Smith and Jana Latham.

The next meeting of Chapter LT will be Feb. 2 at 1400 Lincoln Tower Circle. The program will be “Spread the Word, Read by Third” by Lindsey Upah.
