The Marshall County Retired School Personnel Association will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 at the Marshalltown Public Library. Gary Bryant will present a program about the Marshalltown Emergency Food Box. The program will be followed by a brief business meeting. Light refreshments will be provided by the November Social Committee. All retired Marshall County School Personnel are invited to attend.
Fifteen members of P.E.O. Chapter BB met Nov. 7 at the Marshalltown Art and Cultural Center. Julie Kruse-Brewer and Jackie Hughes were co-hostesses. President Carolyn Anderson presided over the meeting. Members were reminded of the upcoming Marshall County P.E.O. Christmas Tea on Dec. 5 at the First United Methodist Church. Members were also reminded of the Chapter’s Christmas Social on Dec. 1 at the Embers coffee shop. Sigma Master Chapter met for lunch at Wayward Social on Nov. 8 with six members and two guests present. In the absence of President Diane Hobson, Alice Nicholson, secretary opened the meeting with the Roll Call question: “What are you most thankful for this year?” and health issues were given at that time along with the answers.
