Marshall County Courthouse Court — Thursday

• Jared Alan Eibs made an initial appearance on a burglary-first degree charge, an assault while displaying a dangerous weapon charge, an assault causing bodily injury charge, a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge and a no interlock device charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 5. Bond is set at $28,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jonathan Lee Robinson made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge, a sex offender registry violation-second offense charge, a carrying weapons charge, a sex offender registry violation-first offense charge, a leaving the scene of an accident charge, a failure to maintain speed charge, a reckless driving charge, a harassment-third degree charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, an interference with official acts charge, a failure to maintain control charge, an open container charge, a unsafe entry onto walkway charge, a failure to yield to emergency vehicle charge, a no insurance charge and a registration plate or card violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 5. Bond is set at 9,000 cash or surety on the new charges. Robinson is being held without bond on the probation violation charge. A probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court.

• Creedance Duncan made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an speeding charge and an open container charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 17. Duncan is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Nathan Thomas Lucas made an initial appearance on four counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be schedule by the District Associate Court. Lucas is being held without bond.

• Chancey Amos Frazier made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be schedule by the District Associate Court. Frazier is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to immediately following the initial hearing go to the adult probation office.

• On Wednesday, an incident of forgery was reported in the 500 block of Iowa Avenue West.

• On Wednesday, a theft was reported in the 200 block of East Church Street.

• On Wednesday, a forgery was reported in the 10 block of East Anson Street.

• On Wednesday, a case of damage to property valued at more than $10,000 was reported in the 1300 block of Summit Street.

Arrests

• On Thursday, Jonathan Robinson, 32, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts and on warrants.

• On Wednesday, Randy Hinders, 57, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Wednesday, Jennifer Charmaine Yakel, 42, was arrested on a warrant from another county.

• On Wednesday, Jared Eibs, 30, was arrested for two counts of assault causing bodily injury, operation of vehicle without interlock device, driving while denied or revoked, driving while barred, burglary-first degree, domestic abuse assault-display or use of weapon-first offense and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Wednesday, Todd Bird, 52, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of trespass and criminal mischief-fifth degree.

• On Wednesday, Nathan Lucas, 29, was arrested on a warrant charging him with four counts of probation violation.

• On Wednesday, Carl Bartell, 36, was arrested on a warrant charging him with controlled substance violation.
