Court — Tuesday
• Jose Aguilar Jr. made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and a criminal mischief-fourth degree charge. Aguilar will hire his own counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 27. Aguilar is released on his promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Sher Ni made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on April 28. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Blaine Douglas Hall made an initial appearance on a two counts of an interference with official acts charge, an eluding charge, a driving under suspension charge, a no valid driver’s license charge and a voluntary absence from custody charge. On one eluding charge the public defender’s office was appointed as counsel and a pre-trial conference was set for 9:30 a.m. on July 15 in Magistrate Court. The public defender’s office was also appointed for all the other charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 20. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
