• Jacob Samuel Speck made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, an open container charge, a speeding charge and a no insurance charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 in Magistrate Court. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Friday Billy made an initial appearance on a failure to file a written arraignment charge. The arraignment hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Oct. 11. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Say Htoo made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11 a.m. on Oct. 25. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Serei Mistique Bear made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a driving over the curb charge and a no insurance charge. Bear will hire Chad Frese as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 24 in Magistrate Court. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Adriana Celeste Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Crepin Nakasila Maweka failed to make an appearance on a driving under suspension charge and was found guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
