• Simon Yoal Kolan failed to make an appearance in a court proceeding. Jennie Wilson Moore is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 16. Bond is set at $800 cash.

• Jeremy Rhea Waltemeyer made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Fernando Ervin Cole made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Chad Alan Lavender made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation. The District Associate Court will schedule the pre-trial release revocation hearing. During the initial appearance, Lavender used profanity and was disruptive. After a warning from the Court, this behavior continued. Lavender was found in contempt of court and sentenced to 20 consecutive days in jail. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Estevan Luis Sanchez made an initial appearance on a speeding charge, a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 8 in Magistrate Court.

• Ismael Mikanza Canhonga made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Canhonga pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Cristianjose Araon Hernandez Vazquez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 8 in Magistrate Court.

• Billy Alfred Edwards Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 8 in Magistrate Court.
