Schutte paints a return to learn picture at Rotary

A large Zoom crowd of Rotarians joined the virtual meeting held June 9. Membership was reminded that the club is hosting a Community Food Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 20 in the Fisher Community Center West Parking Lot. The Marshalltown Rotary club held its May 26 meeting using the “Zoom” platform with Jim Goodman presiding. Goodman announced the options that membership will have to contribute to the Rotary Community Food Drive coming up on June 20. The club plans to resume in-person meetings in three weeks. The Marshalltown Lioness met on March 9, at the First United Church of Christ with President Dessa Hattenfield presiding. P.E.O. Chapter LT elected and installed officers for its 55th year at a regular meeting on March 2 at St. Henry’s Church dining room. The officers for the 2020-21 year are President, Mariam Koenigs; Recording Secretary, Rhonda Miller; Treasurer, Karen Berger; Chaplain, Lisa Koester; Assistant Chaplain, Jana Latham; Guard, Amy Stahlin; Assistant Guard, Mary Miller.
