• Juan Raul Velez made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a driving while revoked charge, an improper overtaking on the right charge, a no insurance charge and a failure to use seat belts charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on March 21. Bond is set at $2,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Travis John Davis made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Davis is being held without bond.

• Nicholas Edward Miller made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The pre-trial conference will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• James Lee Lutes made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Lutes pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Manuel Magana Garcia made an initial appearance on two counts of a rabies vaccination violation charge and a dog at large charge. Magana Garcia pleaded guilty and the total fine is $315 with a $47.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $422.25.

• Ramon Alberto Santos De La Cruz made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on March 29.

• On Sunday, March 10, Prince Jallah, 19, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Sunday, March 10, Ramon Nunez-Hernandez, 54, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Sunday, March 10, Travis Davis, 33, ws arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of parole.

• On Sunday, March 10, Nicholas Miller, 42, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of harassment-second degree-threaten bodily injury.

• On Saturday, March 9, Carlos McBride Jr., 41, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and open container in a public place.

• On Friday, March 8, Jesse Davis, 32, was arrested for willful injury resulting in serious injury and going armed with intent.

• On Friday, March 8, Kaily Ali Shah, 41, was arrested for trespass-first offense.

• On Friday, March 8,, DJ Baccam, 33, was arrested on a warrant charging him with operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense.

• On Friday, March 8, Tayviun Downs, 19, was arrested on a warrant charging him with driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.

• On Friday, March 8, Jeffery Heslop, 42, was arrested on a warrant charging him with three counts of theft-third degree.
